The Ministry of National Defense of Turkey (INTR) reports that the Akıncı UAV and a COUGAR type helicopter with a night vision function are directed to participate in search and rescue operations in connection with the collapse of a helicopter with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and other officials.
The statement of the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey says the following:
“On the basis of a request received from the Iranian authorities through our Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Akıncı UAV and a COUGAR type helicopter with a night vision function, allocated to participate in the search and rescue operations of the Iranian President and its delegation.”
