Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko called not to arrange witch hunts against those who declared disagreement with the Russian invasion of Ukraine, since society itself will give an assessment. It is reported by “Interfax.”
“We need not to be” witch hunt “, this is the worst if this begins,” Matvienko said at a meeting of the Federation Council.
So she reacted to the initiative of Senator Pavel Tarakanov, who proposed to give an order to the commission of the SF to protect state vegetables to work out a mechanism for banning cultural figures and other celebrities who opposed the “special operation”, to occupy state -owned debt and work on projects with state participation.
