The number of confirmed cases of infection with coronavirus infection over the past seven days increased by 5.7 million. This is the maximum from the beginning of the pandemic, the TASS calculations are evidenced.
Previous maximum – 5.36 million cases a week – was registered in mid-December 2020.
Now the rate of infection is higher than in India and a number of Latin America.
