International support of Ukraine should continue, since this is also a guarantee of peace in the Republic of Moldova and throughout the continent.
This is the President of Moldova Maya Sandu at a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada Melanie Zholi in Chisinau, the press service of the head of the Moldovan state reports.
During the meeting, Sandu expressed appreciation for the development of more and more close bilateral relations.
The head of the Moldovan state thanked Canada’s authorities for supporting Chisinau in the process of modernization, implementation of reforms and strengthening institutions.
Sandu noted the constant efforts of the Canadian authorities to create a common front against corrupt officials trying, according to her, to destabilize the situation in Moldova.
According to the results of the meeting, Sandu wrote on the social network X that Moldova and Canada share a firm commitment to the support of Kyiv.
“It is extremely important that the international community continues to support Ukraine,” the head of state emphasized.
