Today, June 17, on the day of the professional holiday of medical workers of Azerbaijan, representatives of the medical community, led by the Minister of Health, Teimur Musaev, visited the Honorary Burial Alley and laid flowers to the grave of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry.
According to the report, then flowers were entrusted to the graves of an outstanding ophthalmologist Academician Zarifi Khanum Aliyeva, a prominent public figure, healthcare organizer Aziz Aliyev and the famous scientist Tamerlana Aliyev.
The representatives of the medical community of Azerbaijan on the second alley of honorary burial and the memory of doctors who died in the Patriotic War laid flowers to their graves.
In accordance with the order of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev of June 4, 2001 annually on June 17 is celebrated in our country as a professional holiday of medical workers.
