Medium business should become driver of industry of Kazakhstan – Prime Minister

Medium business should become the driver of the growth of the manufacturing industry of Kazakhstan. This was said by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov at a meeting with representatives of medium-sized businesses, the press service of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

“It is on medium -sized business that it is highly expectations, which should become the core of this progress, the driver of the processing of the processing sector with the production of competitive products and the provision of a wide range of services,” Smailov emphasized.

As part of the meeting, the participants discussed the issues of ensuring the availability of financing, increasing the volume of production, import substitution and mastering new production niches, implementing state support programs, public procurement, taxation, certification, development of industrial zones and industrial parks, introducing innovations, export, creating workers places, training of specialists and a number of others.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the state bodies will be given instructions together with the business community to work out the solution of all voiced issues.

In his speech, he noted that, according to world practice, the average business is most adapted to constantly changing market conditions. This makes him the main player in economic development. In this regard, the most developed states actively stimulate small enterprises to expand and strengthen positions in the world market.

The head of the government added that a new Tax Code is being developed, which provides for a reduction in load and simplify the procedures of tax administration.
