The West is pushing the world to the global war using nuclear weapons, and only the “complete and final victory of Russia” can guarantee the prevention of such a conflict, said the deputy chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev. His statements are given by Russian media.
“Thesis of Western countries: Russia cannot be given to win in the war means: if not Russia wins, then, apparently, Ukraine. The purpose of Ukraine in the war is called the Kyiv regime – the return of all the territories previously belonging to it. This is a threat to the existence of our state and the decay of the current Russia. And therefore, a direct occasion for the application of clause 19 of the Fundamentals of the State Policy of the Russian Federation in the field of nuclear deterrence, ”Medvedev wrote in Telegram.

Earlier today, Dmitry Medvedev, during negotiations with Zimbabwe President Emmerson Mnngagva, said that Moscow would never give the territories of Ukraine annexed to the Russian Federation to anyone. The Ukrainian authorities have repeatedly said that they would not stop the war until they reached the borders of 1991. The leaders of the European Union and NATO, in turn, expressed that they should not allow Russia’s victory in Ukraine.
Russian President Vladimir Putin, declaring partial mobilization on September 21, promised to use “all funds” to protect the people. Medvedev after that recalled that Russia could use nuclear weapons if necessary. He suggested that even in this case, NATO would not intervene in the war, because the safety of Washington, London or Brussels for the alliance is much more important than “no one needs to die of Ukraine”
