In Baku, the 13th meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ukraine was held in Baku.
The Ministry of Energy noted that before the meeting, the meeting of the co -chairs of the commission, the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan, Parviz Shakhbazov and the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Hermann Galushchenko, took place.
At the meeting, it was emphasized that bilateral relations are based on mutual trust and effective partnership. Gratitude to Azerbaijan for the constant humanitarian support to Ukraine was expressed. The parties exchanged views on the development of cooperation in various fields.

Commissioner of the Commission from the Azerbaijani side, the Minister of Energy of the Parviz Shakhbazov noted that the adoption of an action plan within the Commission will deduce cooperation between countries to a new stage, will contribute to the widespread use of existing potential in such promising areas, minerals, agriculture, as well as in industrial parks and free economic zones.
The co -chair of the commission from the Ukrainian side, the Minister of Energy, German Galushchenko, in turn, said that both countries are uniting strong historical ties, mutual respect, regional cooperation and general views on sustainable development.
“Ukraine attaches great importance to strategic partnership with Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan was one of the first countries to support Ukraine with energy equipment, and this support played a vital role for us. We believe that the current meeting will determine new joint initiatives that will strengthen the foundations of long -term partnerships,” the Minister added.
