Rashard Amirov, known as the performer of Meihana Rashad Dagly, committed the murder in the Garadagsky district of Baku.
According to local media reports, 38-year-old Amirov inflicted a fatal knife wound to the previously convicted Pirkhtiev. Qafqazinfo writes that the cause of the conflict was allegedly offensive statements by the latter to Amirov.
Amirov was detained as a suspect. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed the fact of the murder.
