Merkel about plans for future: at first I will not do anything

Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel performed today in Düsseldorf, but she said this time not about politics, but about general things: about public, philosophical, personal. This happens very rarely, writes the German N-TV channel.

In particular, speaking that it has formed her as a person, Merkel mentioned his studies at the physical faculty, where 80% of students were male. According to Merkel, it was then that she learned to win his place in a medium where men dominate.

As the most severe moment of Merkel called the crisis of the eurozone when she demanded too much from Greek citizens. The best moments the Chancellor called those when it was possible to achieve an important compromise: for example, the signing of the Lisbon contract or coordination of coronavirus assistance to EU member countries.

On the question of whether she leaves the post of Chancellor with a calm soul, Merkel replied “yes” adding that he considers his debt performed, and Germany now need something new.

Regarding plans for the future, Merkel noted that she would like to catch up over the years of her political career. “At first I just won’t do anything and wait until something comes to mind. Maybe I want to write something, go somewhere on a journey or just stay at home,” said Chancellor FRG.
