According to him, before the war, the Ukrainian people believed that NATO is power, and the EU is weak and indecisive.
“And after the beginning of the war, the people saw that the whole on the contrary. That the European Union has a character, has the power, applied unprecedented sanctions, created a fund to finance the Armed Forces of Ukraine, gave us the status of a candidate and the perspective of membership, and NATO cannot solve anything”, – he said.
Kuleba noted that he directly stated this in his speech at the NATO ministerial meeting, held on March 4.
According to the minister, the Alliance could not accept any decisions on the resistance of aggression and “gave everything to the level of bilateral relations.”
“This is the weakness for which the Alliance, unfortunately, will pay in the future. And now Ukrainians will suffer because of her,” he stressed.
