When organizing the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Judo Federation of Azerbaijan in March-April of this year in the eight regions of the country (54 district and cities will be covered).
The first tournaments will be held on March 5 in Nakhchivan and Geegel. Then the young judoers will be filled with the forces in Mingachevir (March 7), Balakene (March 12), Ismailla (March 14), Husar (March 16), Masalli (March 18) and Sumgait (April 6-7).
The championships will take part athletes 2008-2010 birth. The winners of the tournament will receive the right to speak in the Championship of Azerbaijan, which will be held on May 6-8 in Baku.
One of the main goals of the Judo Federation of Azerbaijan is the popularization of judo in all regions of the country and the creation of a system in which the mass will allow to identify new talents. Also one of the tasks is the propaganda of a healthy lifestyle among young men and young people.
In the meantime, the women’s team of Azerbaijan will perform this weekend at the open Cup of Europe in Prague. In the competition, which is expected to participate by judoists and judoists from 46 countries, our country will be present: Aydan Veliyev (48 kg), Aisha Gurbanlas (48 kg), Sabina Aliyev (52 kg), Fidan Alizade (57 kg), ITAJ GARDASHANLY (63 kg) and Sudak Agayeva (70 kg).
