Minister Naga satisfied with development of associations of Azerbaijan and Hungary

The Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, the co-chairman of the Joint Azerbaijan-Hungarian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation Sakhil Babayev met with the delegation led by the Minister of Agriculture of Hungary by Ishtra. The meeting was also attended by the ambassador of Hungary in Baku Viktor Sederkeni. This HaqQin.Az was told in the press service of the Mintruda.

Stressing that the links between Azerbaijan and Hungary are at the level of strategic partnership, Babayev noted that large-scale construction works are being conducted on the territories of Azerbaijan, and expressed their satisfaction with the fact that Hungarian companies also express interest in participating in these works.

Minister Sakhil Babaev noted that between Azerbaijan and Hungary, as in other areas, there is great potential for further cooperation in the field of agriculture. He stressed the importance of Azerbaijani-Hungarian agricultural business forum, which is held today in Baku, in developing cooperation between the agrarian companies of the two countries.

at the meeting it was noted that in 2005-2021 more than 10 business forums, business meetings and other events took place in Baku and Budapest. In 2019, Azerbaijan’s house opened in the Hungarian capital, about 20 Hungarian companies in the areas of services, transport, trade, agriculture work in Azerbaijan.

Parties noted the activities of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation between the governments of Azerbaijan and Hungary. It was noted that in February 2022, the 8th meeting of the Commission was scheduled to be held in Baku, within which Azerbaijani-Hungarian business forum will be held.

Ishthan Nague expressed satisfaction with the development of Hungary ties with Azerbaijan and the fact that these relationships are at a high level today. The meeting was noted that next year it is planned to hold a 2nd meeting of the Azerbaijani-Hungarian Working Group on Agriculture and Food Industry.
