The organization of Turkish states (OTG) has turned into an important center of power thanks to a new vision, projects and activities.
This was stated by the Minister of Trade of Turkey Omer Bolat, speaking at the business forum of the Turkic world.
Bolat noted that the countries of the Turkic world have a common history and culture, and every day they are increasingly developing cooperation based on friendly and fraternal relationships.
According to Bolat, the situation in the world and the destructive natural disasters taking place in different countries demonstrate the importance of cooperation in the fight against global crises.
“OTG has turned into an important center of power thanks to a new vision, projects and activities. Organization plays a key role in overcoming the food and energy crisis in the world, thanks to the resources, the power and visions of members of members, as well as the location on the most important logistics routes” – he said.
The minister noted that the determination of the leaders of the countries played an important role in the development of cooperation between the member countries and observers. OTG is an ideal platform for the development of cooperation, he said.
According to the minister, one of the main goals is to increase trade between the countries
“Exports of the OTG countries, together with observers, in 2022 exceeded $ 537 billion. Mutual export of the OTG countries last year amounted to $ 33 billion, that is 6 percent of the total export. We intend to increase this indicator to 10 percent,” – He said.
