The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population conducted calculation of demographic indicators of the population of Azerbaijan until 2050 with the involvement of international experts, Minister Sakhil Babaev said at a meeting of Milli Majlis.
“We conducted the demographic calculations of the population of Azerbaijan ourselves, attracted international experts. We calculated demographic indicators that will be until 2050. Until 2035 there will be no problems.”
Babaev said that until 2035 there will be no problems with the aging of Azerbaijan, in 2035-2045 the population is expected, after 2045 the challenges will begin:
“These calculations provide the stability of the pension system. We must ensure formal employment in these years. That is why all attention is focused on ensuring formal employment,” he said.
