In accordance with the “Concept of National Security of the Azerbaijan Republic”, approved by the relevant order of the President of Azerbaijan, in 2023, a plan of joint measures in the field of preventing any manifestations of terrorism and extremism was signed between the Ministry of Defense and the Military Prosecutor’s Office of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Defense said.
In addition, a plan of joint events for the current year in the field of strengthening of law and order, military discipline in the army of Azerbaijan and prevent crimes was signed between both structures.
According to the plan, the dates, places and persons responsible for conducting the measures with the participation of military personnel of various categories are determined.
During 2023, meetings in the types of troops (forces), associations, formations, military units and in special military schools of the Ministry of Defense, aimed at increasing legal knowledge of personnel, strengthening discipline and law enforcement, as well as the implementation of certain ones are planned measures and other activities to eliminate existing problems.
