Information distributed by the Armenian Ministry of Defense that units of the Azerbaijani army allegedly opened fire first on each other, and then by the positions of the Armenian side, is not true, the Azerbaijan Ministry of Defense said.
“We categorically refute this information that has no basis,” the Azerbaijani defense department said.
Note that earlier on Tuesday, October 18, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan refuted the information widespread by the Armenian side about allegedly shelling by units of the Azerbaijani army of Armenian positions.
