Ministry of Defense of Russia will track course of NATO exercises SEA BREEZE

The Russian Ministry of Defense will follow the preparation and conduct of NATO SEA BREAZE countries and respond to the safety of the Russian Federation. This was stated on Wednesday to journalists Official representative of the Russian military department, Major General Igor Konashenkov.

“The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation will carefully monitor the course of training and holding the Ukrainian-American SEA BREEZ exercise with the involvement of NATO countries and, if necessary, to respond adequately developing environment in the interests of ensuring the military security of the Russian Federation,” he said.

“about 4 thousand servicemen will be involved in this teaching, 40 warships, boats and subsidiary ships, 30 units of aviation equipment and more than 100 units of cars and armored vehicles,” Konashenkov added.

He noted that the teachings will be held “against the background of the incessant charges by Western countries in allegedly building up military potential in the South-Western borders.”

exercises will be held from June 28 to July 10 with the participation of Ukraine, USA, Canada, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, Latvia and other partner countries.
