The head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Valery Gerasimov listened to the report of the chief of the General Staff of the VKS Viktor Afzalov on an attempt by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on July 9 to deliver a missile blow to objects in [annexed] Crimea, as well as the Kaluga and Rostov regions of Russia.
from the message of the department it follows that all four missiles of the S-200 forces of Ukraine were destroyed.
Two missiles were destroyed by the air defense systems, two more were rejected by the RB means, explained to the Ministry of Defense.
The head of the General Staff ordered the Main Intelligence Management to find and destroy warehouses with such missiles and their starting positions, as well as strengthen air protection.
The Ministry of Defense also published a video with Valery Gerasimov. This is his first public head of the General Staff, the appearance after the rebellion of the Wagner PMC June 23-24.
