The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the prevention of attacks of 42 Ukrainian UAVs in the annexed Crimea.
The department noted that the incident took place on the night of August 25.
“Air Defense Fabric was found 42 unmanned aerial vehicles. As a result of the fire influence of the territory of the Republic of Crimea, nine UAVs were destroyed, 33 were depressed by the means of the EMB and crashed without reaching the goal,” the press service of the defense department will say.
In addition, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the Night of August 25 over the Kaluga Region of the Air Defense Forces destroyed the Ukrainian S-200 missile.
The department noted that a missile of the modified COMPO COMPLIA COURSELD was used to attack civil facilities.
Earlier, Russian airlines reported the closure of airspace over the capital’s airports.
At the moment, all airports of the Moscow Aviation – Vnukovo, Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo, as well as Zhukovsky are working regularly, according to the Federal Air Transport Agency.
