Ministry of Defense of Russian Federation reported interception of UAVs in number of regions

Russian air defense systems shot down three Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of aircraft type over the Rostov, Tula and Kaluga regions. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The department noted that the attack took place on January 11 around 04.30 Moscow time

In addition, the Ministry of Defense reported that at night the Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle was destroyed at night by the air defense systems.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Regional Security reported that the UAV intercepted in the Tula region did not damage infrastructure.

“On January 11, over the territory of the Tula region, far from the settlements by the defense systems of the air defense of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, an aircraft type of UAV was intercepted. There were no injuries and damage to the infrastructure. All services were organized,” the message said.

In turn, the Governor of the Kaluga Region Vladislav Shapsha said that in the morning on the outskirts of the city of Kaluga, an BPL explosion occurred above the technical construction of the pumping station. “As a result of the explosion, the building received damage. There are no fires and there are no injuries. Operational groups work at the scene,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.

The Governor of the Voronezh Region Alexander Gusev said that at night the Ukrainian UAV struck the roof of a non -residential building in one of the municipalities of the region. “No one was injured. There is no fire. All operational services work on the spot,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, the head of the Kharkov Regional State Administration Oleg Sinegubov said in social networks that the Park Hotel Hotel in Kharkov, where there was also the Anadolu film crew, was shelling the S-300 missiles. “As a result of the shelling, the building of the hotel complex was damaged, where more than 30 civilians were located at the time of the blow. There were also a fire of several cars,” the message will say.

According to the Sinegubs, 11 people received injuries.

The hotel in Kharkov, in which the filming of the Anadolu agency was stopped in Ukraine, underwent a missile shelling.

The incident took place on January 10, at about 23:00 local time.

Two shells fell into the Park Hotel building.

The upper floors of the hotel were destroyed from the explosions, the building was seized by a flame.

Anadol’s reporter David Kachkachishvili and the photo correspondent of the Ozga Agency Elif Kizil managed to leave the building.

As a result of the incident, Kachkachishvili received light cuts of hands.
