Russian air defense (air defense systems) from 20.00 Moscow time on May 28 intercepted and destroyed 48 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of aircraft type. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on Thursday, May 29.
According to the report of the department, 30 UAVs were interpreted and destroyed above the territory of the Belgorod region, four UAVs over the territory of the Oryol region, four UAVs over the territory of the Ryazan region, four UAVs over the territory of the Republic of Crimea, three UAVs above the territory of the Moscow region, two UAVs above the territory of the Bryansk region and one BPL – above the territory of the Tambov region.
Meanwhile, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced the repelment of the attack of the three UAVs who attacked the Moscow region.
“As a result of reflecting the attack of an enemy drone of serious damage and victims in the house on Vernadsky Avenue, there are no Vernadsky Avenue. Specialists of the relevant services work at the place of falls,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.
