Russian air defense (air defense systems) over the past night intercepted and destroyed 86 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of aircraft type. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on Wednesday, July 9.
According to the department, 23 UAVs were destroyed and intercepted above the territory of the Kursk region, 16 UAVs over the territory of the Bryansk region, 15 UAVs over the territory of the Tula region, 12 UAVs – above the territory of the Belgorod region, 12 UAVs above the territory of the Oryol region, 4 UAVs – above the territory of the Moscow region, including 2 BPLs flying to Moscow, 2 BPAs – over the territory of the territory. Smolensk region, 1 UAV – above the territory of the Voronezh region and 1 UAV – above the territory of the Ryazan region.
Attack on the beach in the city of Kursk
As a result of the attack of Ukrainian drones on the beach in Kursk, according to the latest data, three people were killed, the acting governor of the Kursk region Alexander Khinshtein said.
According to him, all three dead are men, one of them is an employee of the Russian Guard.
“7 people were injured, among them – a boy of 5 years old. They have fragmentation injuries and burns of varying degrees. Five people, including a child, in serious condition,” Kinshtein wrote in his Telegram channel.
He noted that a five -year -old child will be transferred to Moscow with his mother.
Acting Governor also announced the hit of the city of Rylsk.
“The Ukrainian drone attacked the infectious corps of the Rylsk Central District Hospital and the ambulance building. As a result of the blow, glazing of buildings was sung, the roof caught fire. Another drone attacked the administrative building of the Rylskaya agricultural company, the fire began. Unfortunately, two people were injured,” he said.
