Part of the Belarusian troops brought to the border with Ukraine for its protection, the assistant of the Minister of Defense on ideological work in the Armed Forces – Head of the Main Directorate of the ideological work of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus General Major Leonid Kasinsky, reports Sputnik Belarus.
According to him, the information distributed on the Internet regarding the participation of the entire Belarusian operation in the operation conducted by Russia in the Donbass does not correspond to reality.
Assistant Minister of Defense also noted that some parts of Belarus are aimed at the Belarusian-Ukrainian border. According to him, “part of the forces and means are derived to enhance the border in order to eliminate penetration from the territory of Ukraine of diversion-intelligence groups, as well as the exclusion of weapons, weapons and ammunition.”
