The Armenian Ministry of Defense once again extended false information that the divisions of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border from the territory of the Kalybadjar district were allegedly fired by the positions in the territory of the village of the Upper Shorge of the Gegorkiki district of Armenia.
As the HAQQIN.AZ reported in the Ministry of Defense, on May 25, during the daytime, seven trucks of Armenian Armed Forces with a person attempted to approach the specified area of the border.
As a result of preventive measures taken by our units, the movement of the opposite side was prevented.
“We definitely declare that our parts did not open fire on the opposite side. According to our information, the incident with the death of the Armenian soldier occurred as a result of an accident. This incident has nothing to do with the Azerbaijani side. We note that the Azerbaijani side is in constant contact with the Russian side about this, “- said in the statement of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.
Note that earlier the Armenian Defense Ministry reported that the contracting soldier died due to a shootout at the border.
