Near the village of Tlaglabiyan of the Ismailinsky district, illegal coal mining is carried out in the forest, which creates the danger of forest fires.
As reports Haqqin.az, the organization “Ecofront” reported. According to the organization’s activists, the territory where coal is mined is surrounded by forest and shrubs. If a fire flashes, it can spread to Mount Niyaldag.
The organization noted that they do not know what kind of organization this territory is on the balance sheet: “But still someone should react to what is happening. The same situation in most villages in the forests of Ismails.”
The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources informed Haqqin.az that during control measures conducted by employees of the civil service of the ministry environmental safety, on a land plot related to the municipality of the village of Tlaglabiyan, 4 furnaces and coal wells were discovered illegally producing charcoal.
A Service of the Bakhruz Magomedov Service said that the discovered coal wells were canceled, and the collected documents were sent to the Ismailinsky district police department to identify the perpetrators.
