Istanbul peace negotiations will help to bring the turnover in the region to a new, higher level.
About this, Deputy Minister of Trade of Turkey, Mahmuth Güdzhan, told Anadol in the fields of the Russian International Economic Forum “The Islamic World: KazanForum”, which takes place on May 13-18 in the Republic of Tatarstan (subject of the Russian Federation). The global information partner of the forum is the Anadolu agency.
GURURDAM emphasized the importance of the forum uniting the Islamic world and representing halal products and noted its significant role in the development of the economic ties of Turkey.
The deputy head of the Ministry of Trade of Turkey also reported the active participation of Turkish companies in the work of the forum.
According to him, the volume of trade in the Russian Federation and Turkey reached $ 53 billion, Russia is one of the main trading partners of Turkey.
The representative of the department emphasized the significance of Turkish-Russian relations. “We believe that such events play an important role in achieving the goal of the volume of trade in $ 100 billion set by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Mr. Vladimir Putin during their meetings. Today we continue negotiations with representatives of cooperation with Russia,” he said.

GURURTASUS also assessed the possible influence of Istanbul peace negotiations on the regional economy.
“The completion of the conflict will open the way for the growth of trade in the region. We see that in the conditions of Russian sanctions it is necessary to stop the conflict and develop foreign economic relations. Turkey has been striving to maintain a balanced relationship with Russia all this time, despite the sanctioned pressure. I am sure that in the next period our country will effectively use the opening capabilities of trading interaction,” he said.
The representative of the department emphasized that the end of the conflict will have a significant commercial and economic impact on both Turkey and the whole region.
“negotiations under the mediation of Turkey can give a new impetus to the development of not only the region, but the whole world,” Gürjan added.
