checks conducted in the first half of 2022 by the central apparatus of the State Financial Control Service of the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan, and its regional financial inspections in 52 organizations, unnecessary and unreasonable payments were identified for 99.910.5 thousand manat, the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan reports.
It is noted that according to the work plan for 2022, the central apparatus of the service and its regional financial inspections in the first half of this year conducted inspections in 14 organizations, as a result of which extra and unreasonable payments were identified in the amount of 2919.4 thousand manat.
During and after the end of the inspections, the return of part of this amount (108.0 thousand manat) was provided with guilty persons to the state budget).
To give legal assessment to deficiencies in the amount of 2811.4 thousand manat, identified in 2 of the trusted organizations, the materials of the inspections were sent to the state security service.
In addition, during the revision of the economic and financial activities of the Azerbaijani embassy in Germany, from December 30, 2014 to October 1, 2021, it was established that information in banking extracts was changed and falsified that funds in bank accounts, in including cases of assignment by transferring state fees for consular operations to other accounts. Given the seriousness of the identified financial violations, the state security service was presented with the material for taking appropriate measures for guilty officials.
