Ministry of Health met with delegation of Federation of Women’s Health Associations of Turkey

The Ministry of Health met with a delegation, headed by the chairman of the Federation of Women’s Health of Turkey, Professor Gurkan Ungzhun, the press service of the department said.

According to the message, Minister Teimur Musaev noted exemplary cooperation in the field of health and medical science, as in all areas, between Azerbaijan and Turkey: “From the first years of Azerbaijan, independence between the Ministry of Health of the Dauh of countries has established official relations. Teimur Musaev also recalled the World Turkic Medical Congress in Istanbul in October last year: “As part of the international event, a meeting of the ministers of the healthcare countries of the Turkic states (OTG) took place. During the meeting, the delegation of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Health nominated several important proposals who were positively perceived by the ministers of healthcare countries – members of the organization. One of them was the creation of uniform standards of medical education in the countries of OTG “.

At the end, Teimur Musaev expressed interest in increasing the level of cooperation of the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan with the Federation of Associations of Women’s Health of Turkey.

At the same time, Professor Gürkan Ungju thanked for a warm welcome and expressed confidence that the Azerbaijani-Turkish Congress of Women’s Health Associations will make a great contribution to the further development of cooperation.

The parties agreed to expand and deepen bilateral interaction.
