“In Azerbaijan, there are no cases of infection with the monkey smallpox virus.” This was stated by the Minister of Health of Azerbaijan Teimur Musaev.
According to him, despite the increase in the number of confirmed cases of infection with the monkey smallpox virus around the world, in Azerbaijan, infection with this virus is not recorded.
“We are in constant contact on this issue with the office in the country and the European Bureau of the World Health Organization. There are no factors in Azerbaijan that contribute to the spread of this virus. We hope that the population of hygienic rules will not allow this virus to spread in our country”, – said Minister Musaev.
