The Minister of Health of Azerbaijan Teimur Musaev signed an order to conduct preventive and anti-epidemic measures against influenza and SARS among the population in 2019-2030, Haqqin.az said in the Ministry of Health.
It is reported that for this purpose the relevant instructions are given to the heads of medical departments and institutions, as well as recommendations to other state medical institutions. According to the order, from October 10, 2022, during the year, in all cities and regions of the republic, among certain groups of the population, measures will be carried out for a month to vaccinate against influenza, as well as sanitary-educational work on the prevention of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections among the population, medical observations in general education and preschool children’s institutions, in particular, ensuring the hospitalization of children and the elderly, and, if necessary, the introduction of a restrictive regime in medical institutions, instructions for ensuring the use of personal protective equipment (masks) medical personnel.
