Ministry of Health told when third dose of vaccine is needed

In accordance with the “Vaccination Strategy against COVID-19 in Azerbaijan for 2021-2022”, the process of vaccination continues in stages across the country.

According to HAQQIN.AZ in the press service of the Ministry of Health, the Academic Medical Council of the Ministry of Health, based on the results of the latest research and experience of vaccination in a number of countries, adopted the following decisions: the term “immune certificate” will be extended for 6 months if Coronavirus and registered citizens 6 months after recovery will receive a one-time dose of any vaccine against the COVID-19 applied in the Republic of Azerbaijan; The term of the “certificate of vaccination” will be extended for 6 months, if vaccinated citizens, in accordance with medical records, 6 months after receiving the second dose will receive a one-time dose of any vaccine against COVID-19 used in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
