Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree according to which the Ministry of Emergency Situations (Ministry of Emergencies) and the Ministry of Internal Affairs (Ministry of Internal Affairs) received new powers.
According to the decree, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of the Interior authorized fines for the arson of sowing fields.
Earlier, cases of administrative offenses for the arson of sowing fields were considered only by the Ministry of Agriculture and the State Service for Property Issues under the Ministry of Economics.
