Assistant to the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery of the Sallah Gennady Detskov died as a result of careless treatment of ammunition. This was stated by the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Maryana Reva, the Ukrainian media reports.
“according to the information that came from the police and who arrived at the calling place of the investigative operational group, this was undermined due to careless handling of ammunition,” the words of the Reva are given.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klimenko also published the details of the incident. “Today, the deceased Major Dytsyakov had a birthday. He returned home with gifts from his colleagues who began to show his relatives. He took out a gift box with grenades inside and began to demonstrate one of the ammunition to his son. It was the grenades of the new Western model. At first, the son took into the hands of ammunition. And he began to twist the ring. Then the soldier took the grenade from the child and pulled out the ring, provoking the tragic explosion, ”the head of the department said.
