Ministry of Labor: Presidential Decree will cover 6,083 veteran

The order of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated April 29, 2021 will cover 6,083 people from among the participants of the Second World War and other persons referred to in the document.

As the HAQQın.az press service was told, the disposal of the head of state of April 29, 2021 on the provision of one-time material assistance to the participants of the Second World War of 1941-1945, the widows of the victims or subsequently fighters, persons who were awarded orders and medals for Selfless work in the rear is another manifestation of high attention and care for the citizens of this category.

According to the order, in connection with the 76th anniversary of the victory in the war of 1941-1945, it will be provided with one-time material assistance in the amount of 1,500 manat.

In addition, the widows of those who died in the Second World War or later fighters, persons awarded orders and medals for selfless work in the rear at that time, employees of special formations that carried out orders in the interests of the army and fleet in the rear of the farthests or in operational The zones of fighting fleets, persons awarded the corresponding medal and badge of the defense of the city of Leningrad during the Second World War, as well as participants in the blockade of Leningrad, a one-time material assistance in the amount of 750 manat will be paid.

Order in general will cover 6,083 people.

Of these, 181 are a member of the Second World War, the rest – the widows who died or who died later fighters, persons awarded orders and medals for selfless work in the rear at that time, as well as other persons referred to at the disposal.

In order to pay a one-time material assistance from Azerbaijan provided for in the state budget for 2021, 4.8 million manat was allocated.

Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan, providing at a high level of execution of the order, will list a one-time material assistance to participants in World War II and others specified at the disposal.
