In accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, the program of providing housing families of Shereid families and disabled people, other vulnerable groups expands from year to year.
The new decree of the head of state dated December 16, 2021 “On the improvement of the social and living conditions of persons who received the status of a family of shekhid, and persons who have a disability due to war” is also another manifestation of special concern for improving socially living conditions. According to the decree, the privatization of apartments in apartment buildings built on the request of the State Committee on Refugees and Forced Migrants in the village of Ramana Sabunchinsky district, the village of Umid Garadaghsky district, the village of Khodjasan Binagadinsky district, Apsheron, Lenkran and Samuhsky districts, as well as The State Housing Fund of Apartment Buildings Built in the village of Kurdakhana Sabunchinsky District of Baku and the Absheron district, according to Article 146.4 of the Housing Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan will be carried out by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population by selling these apartments.
Apartments for sale will be carried out if their number exceeds the number of persons registered in the relevant territory (family of shekhid and disabled war, disabled people, graduates of institutions for children of social service and education, who have lost their parents and deprived parental care) .
Funds received from the sale of apartments, the ministry will send to the provision of housing families of Shekhid families and disabled people in other districts (cities), as well as persons who have disabled in connection with the elimination of the accident at the Chernobyl NPP (including in the performance of duties military service (official duties)).
The project of the order of sale of apartments and the use of funds received from the sale will be prepared by the Cabinet of Ministers and submitted to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan within a month.
