Minsk and Doha intensify bilateral relations

Belarus and Qatar discussed the deepening of trade, economic and investment cooperation.

According to the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry, the 6th round of political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Qatar was held in Doha.

The Belarusian delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yevgeny Shestakov, Katar – Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmad al -Hammadi.

In a friendly atmosphere, the parties discussed a wide range of bilateral, regional and international issues.

The leaders of delegations discussed the schedule of upcoming bilateral events, the interest in activating the exchange of visits at the highest and high levels is emphasized.

The parties emphasized the mutual interest in the early holding of the next meeting of the joint committee for cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Catar state.

“The mutual desire to intensify bilateral relations throughout the spectrum was stated. Possible ways to deepen the trade, economic and investment cooperation, the development of the contractual framework, the stimulation of mutual trips of citizens, including the establishment of direct and charter air transportation between Minsk and the Dele, were subjected to the most objective. – follows from the message.

The parties also reached objective agreements on the priority steps of bilateral interaction.
