The agency noted that Belarus with the countries of the Eastern Partnership link, first of all, the general history, close friendship of peoples, mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation, constructive interaction at the CIS site and in other integration formats, and not a politicized EU initiative.

“Of course, we expected from the unambiguous condemnation of antiborus statements and actions present at the Summit of the Eastern Partnership in Brussels. The history of young post-Soviet countries has repeatedly demonstrated that the chair can remain empty under any flag – depending on the geopolitical layouts and the mood of the European bureaucracy “,” the Belarusian Foreign Ministry said.

Recall, on the eve of the Sixth Summit of the Eastern Partnership in Brussels, Azerbaijan did not join the item declaration adopted by the summit, which concerns the domestic political situation in Belarus. Thus, Azerbaijan has demonstrated its commitment to the principles of respect for the sovereignty of countries and non-interference in internal affairs.
