In the period after the Patriotic War, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population on the instructions of the head of state carries out large-scale social support measures.

In this regard, 15 841 Social Payment (Pension of the President, Social Benefits, Pensions) 7,942 Members of the Sexides of the Patriotic War were also appointed, disability and social payments 2,515 veterans of war were also appointed. The size of social payments to the families of shekhid and disabled people was significantly increased.

The program of ensuring the families of Shekhid and disabled people by apartments and private houses in 2021 expanded five times. By 2021, 3,000 apartments with disabilities will be provided to the families of the shekhid and disabled people, disabled people of war – 164 cars. In total, the ministry provided 12.3 thousand families of shekhid and disabled people, cars – 7.4 thousand disabled people.

The employment is supported by about 10 thousand people, including members of the families of Shekhid, war veterans, victims of the Armenian terror. Including about 6 thousand people attracted to a self-employment program, about 4 thousand people are provided with work. To the “Marathon of Employment”, which began in June 2021, 607 employers joined and presented 3,971 vacancy. For these vacancies, about 1,500 family members and war veterans are already employed.

psychocorrection work with 5,000 people, 1300 people were rehabilitated in rehabilitation institutions. 184 soldiers were provided with 193 high-tech modern festers of the 4th generation, 955 – motocoles (mostly disabled War), 1197 people – 12,948 rehabilitation means.

Decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated June 25, 2021, unified coordination centers were created. In these centers, the families of Shekhid and military personnel, wounded in the war, are provided services in 26 areas 6 by the central executive authorities and the corresponding district (urban) authorities of the executive bodies on the system of “single window”, based on the principles of efficiency, transparency, convenience of citizens. From August 23 last year in Dost centers in Baku, from the beginning of November, in the center of the Dost on Absheron, and from December 24, 8,500 people were provided in the regional unified coordination centers in three areas covering 19 districts and cities.

Overland financial assistance and food assistance were provided as part of social support.

In total, 45 thousand people are covered by social support in the post-war period, including members of Shehid families, war participants and the victims of the Armenian terror. They were given 50 thousand services.
