Moldova and Latvia discussed prospects of defense cooperation

The Minister of Defense of Moldova Anatoly Nosyaty discussed with the Latvian colleague Andris Spruds the prospects for the development of cooperation of the two countries in the defense sector, Moldpress reports.

During negotiations in the capital of Latvia, Riga also discussed the support of the Moldavian army and strengthen the country’s defense capabilities.

The ministers also discussed peacekeeping missions in Kosovo and Lebanon, in which Moldovan military participate.
