Moldova called Russia’s ambassador due to disconnecting light

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova caused Russia’s ambassador Oleg Vasnetsov to give explanations in connection with mass shutdown of light in the country, the head of the department Nick Popescu on Twitter.

“Russia’s attacks on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine again left Moldova in the dark. Mass disconnections of electricity across the country, including Chisinau and the building of the Moldovan Foreign Ministry. I instructed to call Russia ambassador for explanation,” Popescu said.

Note that the President of Moldova Maya Sandu also accused Moscow of turning off the electricity in the country.
