Moldova Foreign Ministry protested due to opening of polling stations in Transnistria

Moldova Foreign Ministry protested in connection with the election of the President of Russia in the self -proclaimed Transnistrian Moldavian Republic.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses a categorical protest in connection with the Russian Federation of unauthorized elected events in the sovereign territory of the Republic of Moldova in administrative units on the left bank of the Dniester,” the statement published in the Telegram channel of the department.

Foreign Ministry of Moldova also urged to condemn the actions of Moscow.

On March 11, the Moldova Foreign Ministry caused the ambassador of the Russian Federation Oleg Vasnetsov due to the opening of polling stations on the presidential election in the so-called Transnistrian Moldavian Republic (PMR).
