Moldova President Maya Sandu held a meeting with Chancellor Austria in Salzburg Charles Nekammer. The head of state thanked the Chancellor for the support provided by Moldova, including through the Austrian development agency, Moldpres reports with reference to the press service of the presidential administration.
“Current projects carried out in the Republic of Moldova with the help of the Austrian state and its citizens are based on our priorities: the development of rural areas, providing the population with water supply and sewage services, the development of public services, projects in the field of education, agriculture, and environmental protection “,” the president emphasized.
In addition, Maya Sandu told Chancellor Nekammer that the Chisinau government was making every effort to fulfill the conditions of the European Commission and began negotiations with the European Union as soon as possible.
“We also count on the support of Austria to convince the European community that Moldova seriously treats its obligations and began the process of fundamental reforms. We need all sorts of support to advance along the European path, the only path that can ensure the world and Well -being, ”the head of state added.
