Moldova’s Ambassador in Russia Vladimir Golovatyuk was summoned to Chisinau to consult and evaluate the activities of the diplomatic mission, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic was reported.
“In accordance with the norms of the law, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recalled the ambassador of Vladimir Golovatuk to Chisinau to consult and evaluate the activities of the diplomatic mission, as well as aspects that concern his behavior,” RIA Novosti is quoted by the Mess press service .
Previously, Moldovan media reported that Golovatuk was recalled, since it turned out to be involved in a sexual scandal. “Before the explanation of all the circumstances of this case, we refrain from commenting on the information that appeared in the national press, noting that the ministry is progressing zero tolerance to any kind pressure, “- emphasized in the Foreign Ministry.
Golovatuk in the past was a deputy from the Socialist Party, he was appointed ambassador in Moscow in December 2020.
