Montenegro announced opening of borders for tourists

The Power of Montenegro announced the opening of the country’s borders for tourists next week. This was stated by Prime Minister of the Republic of Healthcore Curvocapic, reports TASS.

The decision was made by the example of Greece, which opened entry for tourists from all countries, including from Russia, on Friday, May 14th. “Montenegro next week will open all borders for tourists with the most important words: Welcome to the Montenegrin coast,” said Krivocapic.

Earlier, the Ministry of Health of Montenegro announced that the authorities of the country from May 13 would provide free COVID tests for leaving tourists, whose countries demand this on return.

On the upcoming opening of Montenegro for Russian tourists without restrictions on April 20, the Minister of Finance of the country Milayko Sunich was stated. He clarified that all restrictive measures, including PCR testing, will be canceled for travelers entering the state from Russia, Belarus, Northern Macedonia and from Ukraine.
