more than 160 flights are delayed at three airports in Moscow in connection with restrictions on take -off and landing. This was reported by the Moscow Interregional Transport Prosecutor’s Office.
“In connection with the restrictions on the airports of the Moscow Aviation for receiving and releasing aircraft of the Moscow Interregional Transport Prosecutor’s Office, supervisory measures were organized,” follows from the message.
It is noted that as of 11:00 a.m. on May 22, 71 flights were detained in Domodedovo, 72 flights in Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo – 19 flights.
According to the Federal Air Transport Agency at 7:00 Moscow time, 82 aircraft landed on reserve aerodromes on May 21 and 22, but almost all of them have already landed at the initial purposes.
Airports Vnukovo, Domodedovo, Zhukovsky and Sheremetyevo suspended work on the night of May 22.
According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, 35 UAVs were intercepted during the night on the approach to Moscow.
