Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov discussed the schedule of upcoming contacts and the interaction of the two countries at international sites.
“Actual issues of bilateral relations were discussed, including the schedule of upcoming contacts, as well as interaction at international venues,” the message published on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia said.
The department also noted that the parties confirmed the “mutual attitude to further strengthening the Russian-Turkmen strategic partnership and the development of multifaceted cooperation of Moscow and Ashgabat”.
Negotiations took place on the fields of meetings of the heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Caspian states in Moscow.
