The Russian and American parties are discussing a full -time meeting of the advisory commission under an agreement on the reduction and restriction of strategic offensive weapons, said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova during a briefing.
She noted that inspection activities within the framework of the DSNV have been suspended since the beginning of 2020 amid the pandemic of coronavirus.
“The issue of its renewal, of course, is considered, through the relevant channels, a dialogue is carried out regarding how the parties could return to the full implementation of the contract in this part of its control mechanism,” said Zakharova.
