Russia, through diplomatic channels, turned to Armenia for confirmation and explanation of the ban on entry into Armenia to the first deputy committee of the State Duma for the CIS Constantine Zatulin and the chief editor of RT Margarita Simonyan. This was reported by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
“We took such statements or messages in bewilderment … and through diplomatic channels … we turned to the Armenian side for official confirmation and clarification,” Zakharova said during a briefing.
