Moscow: said goodbye to Rustam Ibrahimbekov

In Moscow, a farewell to the playwright, a writer and director Rustam Ibrahimbekov, who died on Friday, on March 11th, was held in Moscow. TASS conveys that the solemn ceremony took place in the central house of cinematographers.

to say goodbye to the master of colleagues, students, close friends, among which Ambassador of Azerbaijan in Russia Polad Bulbülogly, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvydka, Attache on the culture of the Azerbaijani Embassy in the Russian Federation Nigar Akhundova, Directors Andrei Konchalovsky, Vadim Abdrashitov, Rector Vgik Vladimir Malyshev and many others.

Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvydka called Ibrahimbekov’s departure irreparable loss. He stressed that the playwright was incredibly talented in many spheres of creativity and public life, and therefore could appreciate someone else’s talent. It opened for culture the names of the set of cinematographers.

Azerbaijani ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuulogli noted that Maxud and Rustam Ibragimbekov left a deep mark in culture, literature, cinema of Azerbaijan, the entire Soviet Union and modern Russia.

Mourning telegrams addressed the highest state figures of Russia and Azerbaijan, representatives of culture and art.
